Spikes are hard and pointy. They can potentially hurt you, if you’re not careful. A sparrow is a gently, joyful little bird. Hard and soft. Pain and joy. A bit like life, actually. And although we probably all prefer more sparrow, spikes are part of the deal. One can’t exist without the other.
